A few days ago Shah Rukh Khan’s son was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in an alleged drugs case when they raided the Cordelia Cruise liner based on a tip-off. And ever since Aryan’s arrest, there have been a lot of celebrities who have come out in support of King Khan and his family. Now, recently Vishal Dadlani also spoke in favour of SRK. Moreover, Vishal not only spoke about SRK but also about the barbaric killings in Lakhimpur Kheri District.
He took to his twitter and wrote, “If Composers count, I am. SRK and his family are being used as a smokescreen, a soft target to distract from the 3000kg Talibani-drug haul at the Adani port, and to distract from the murder of farmers by the son of a BJP member/MLA. Straight-up.”
According to Dadlani, the media and the law are not treating the victims equally. It seems like SRK’s son is more highlighted than the Lakhimpur incident.
Further, this is not the first time Dadlani is supporting and showcasing farmers’ protest. Few months back he took to his Instagram and expressed solidarity with the ongoing farmers’ protest. Dadlani shared a photograph of organic tomatoes grown by him and captioned, “Respect what you eat, and the farmers who grow it. If you ever till the Earth yourself, you’ll know how much work it is, and how much love and patience it takes. This is just a small patch of tomatoes and it’s taught me a lot.”
