Wamiqa Gabbi To Lead The Cast Of Upcoming Indian Adaptation Of ‘Modern Love’

Punjabi actress Wamiqa Gabbi left no stone unturned to make the community proud. The notable artist has made her name in Tamil movies, Punjabi movies, Bollywood films as well as on OTT Platforms too. 

Now again, a great piece of news has come into light. As it has been reported that Wamiqa Gabbi has been made a part of the Indian adaptation of popular American romantic comedy anthology ‘Modern Love’. Along with Wamiqa, actor Pratik Gandhi and Fatima Sana Shaikh will also be sharing the OTT screen. 

According to reports of India TV, sources close to the development, “Each of the actors is helming different directors’ stories in the anthology. And it’s an exciting lineup of directors and actors who have come together. The series was shot late in 2021 and is believed to be releasing soon on an OTT platform.”

Moreover, Several noteworthy directors including Hansal Mehta, Vishal Bhardwaj, Anjali Menon, Alankrita Shrivastava, Dhruv Sehgal and Shonali Bose would take up the mantle for this huge project. 

Speaking of the story, the upcoming anthology series explores love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms, as well as its effects on the human connection. Each episode brings to life a different story that has been inspired by a newspaper column.

Fans are excited to see their favorite actress Wamiqa again on OTT once again. As the shoot has already begun, it has been speculated that the release date might soon be announced.
