Actress Wamiqa Gabbi has never shied away from good work, be it regional cinema or Bollywood movies. Wamiqa, who is currently basking in the glory of her powerful performance in Disney+ Hotstar’s web series Grahan, will soon be sharing the screen in Netflix.
The title of her upcoming project is ‘Khufiya’ and along with Wamiqa, bollywood actress Tabu, actor Ali Fazal and Ashish Vidyarthi will be seen along with her.
Speaking of this project, it is based on an espionage novel ‘Escape To Nowhere’ by Amar Bhushan. The Netflix film will go into production by the end of this month, with Delhi being the main location for the shoot.
Also, it’s a debut digit project of director Vishal Bhardwaj and he is quite excited to kick off the shoot, as it is based on a true event which happened in Delhi. Further, the director is aiming to release it in the second half of 2022.
Meanwhile, Wamiqa Gabbi has many other projects in her waiting list, as the actor was rumoured to be the Hindi remake of her Malayalam film, ‘Godha’. She is also rumoured to play the younger version of Sivagami in the prequel series to the ‘Baahubali’ film franchise, which will air on Netflix.
