One of the biggest announcements at Apple's WWDC 2022 was M2.

M2 is the all new chipset for the  latest Macbooks.

The chipset was announced along with the all new Macbook Air.

It is built using the second-generation 5-nanometer technology.

It makes the CPU 18% faster, the GPU 35% faster and the Neural Engine 40% faster than Apple's  last flagship M1 chipset.

It delivers 50% more memory bandwith than M1 and up to 24GB  of fast unified memory.

The chipset has over 20 billion transistors (that's 25% more than the M1) and supports 6K external displays.

13.6-inch Macbook Air and the 13-inch Macbook Pro will be the first  ever devices to have M2.

It is the fastest ever chipset introduced by Apple.

Apple claims that the new Macbook Air with M2 performs 40% better than Macbook Air with M1.
