Reportedly, the writer of the movie Kanika Dhillon is the major reason for this outrage.

Kanika's old Hinduphobic tweets have surfaced online & kindled the hate fire against her own movie.

According to the netizens She had tweeted many Hinduphobic statements.

Netizens argued that while Kanika has been making money off Hindus, she has been at the forefront of making derogatory remarks against the same community.

Kanika has made numerous tweets targeting Gau Mata in the past which are now on the target  of angry netizens.

In one of her tweets Kanika wrote, "Dying in the parking lot after waiting for a hospital bed…Yeh acche din hai! India superpower hai! Aur gau mata ka mutra peene see Covid chala jayega”

She also abelled India ‘Lynchistan’ over isolated cow vigilante  attacks in past.
