A new bollywood movie Jogi has been released on Netflix on September 16.

Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Jogi is based on the infamous 1984 Sikh  Riots and genocide.

Diljit Dosanjh is playing the titular role of Jogi in the movie.

Jogi also stars Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Kumud Mishra, Neelu Kohli  with others.

Movie's plot revolves around Jogi, a sikh young man who along with many others of the same community living in Trilokpuri are stuck in a horrifying massacre.

Delhi has become a bloody slaughterhouse for the sikhs, so Jogi tries to escape Delhi with his people. Ravinder (Ayyub), a cop and friend of Jogi, helps him in this rescue mission.

What challenges do they face during this terrifying rescue mission?  Will they succeed in rescuing all the innocents? This is what the  movie is all about.

Diljit's performance is outstanding and is also the highlight of the movie. Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub & Kumud Mishra are also brilliant in their roles.

Movie's screenplay is good but sometimes feels too dramatic. But overall, Jogi is a good watch that shows the pain, suffering & struggle  of the 1984 sikh riots.

Team Kiddaan Rates Jogi  3.5 stars out of 5.
