Huawei is facing heavy US restrictions on the export of its 5G devices.

American officials had placed China's Huawei on a trade blacklist  back in 2019.

That's why Huawei was solely dependent on Qualcomm for the chipsets it uses in its devices.

But as per recent reports, Huawei will announce a new chipset for its devices in the second half of 2023.

Mate X3 will be among the first of Huawei devices to get the  alleged new chipset.

As per a Chinese tipster, the preparations for the Huawei Mate X3 will begin in a couple of days.

Mate X3 is tipped to run on the latest HarmonyOS 2.0.1 edition

There are some reports that suggest that Mate X3 could be powered by a Kirin 9000 4G SoC.

Mate X3 could feature a 4,500 mAh battery with a 66 Watt fast charging support.

However, no official confirmation from Huawei regarding the reported details have been made yet.
