Tata Motors has launched its cheapest electric vehicle in  the country, the Tiago EV.

The Tiago EV's design is very much similar to the ICE-powered hatchback.

However, to differentiate it as an EV, it comes with a distinctive EV badge, projector headlamps, and electric blue highlights.

The interior is bestowed with electric blue hues on the air vents & digital instrument cluster To complement the electric theme.

This new EV offers a height-adjustable driver seat, automatic climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, & a steering wheel with mounted controls.

Tata Tiago EV comes equipped with multi-drive modes, re-gen modes, cruise control, 45 ZConnect features & many other features.

The electric hatchback is powered by two battery packs– 19.2kWh & 24kWh, with a claimed range of 250 km & 315 km, respectively.

It supports 3.3kW & 7.2kW home charging, along with DC fast charging. Tata has claimed that it can achieve the speed of 0-60 kph in 5.7 seconds.

The electric hatchback is available at a starting price of ₹8.49 lakh & is offered in 7 variant options.

Tata will commence the bookings of the Tiago EV on October 10, while its deliveries will start from January 2023.
