Aamir Khan's long awaited movie Laal Singh Chaddha was finally released on August 11 amid boycott controversies.

Aamir's movie has opened unexpectedly low at the  box office.

Laal Singh Chaddha has done a business of ₹12 (approx) at the Indian Box Office.

This is comparatively the worst opening for Aamir Khan (lead role)  in the last 15 years.

With an opening collection of ₹2.62 Crore, Taare Zameen Par (2007), which eventually turned out to be a hit, was his last movie that opened lower than Laal Singh Chadhaa.

However, Laal Singh Chaddha is the winner in the box office clash with Akshay's Raksha Bandhan.

Akshay's Raksha Bandhan merely earned ₹8.2 crore in  its first day of release.

However, the early trends suggest Laal Singh Chaddha is in a much riskier position than Raksha Bandhan due to  higher budget.

Laal Singh Chaddha is made on a huge budget of ₹180 crore.

However, Laal Singh Chaddha is hailed by critics but still it  will earn roughly around  ₹7.5 Crore only.
