Vijay Deverakonda’s sports action film ‘Liger’ is set to be released in theatres on 25 August, 2022.
The film also stars Ananya Pandey, Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishna in pivotal roles and is directed by Puri Jagannadh.
American boxer Mike Tyson marks his debut in Indian cinema with an extended cameo in the film.
The film revolves around the story of an MMA fighter played by Vijay Deverakonda.
An all new poster of the film, where Vijay Deverakonda poses naked, was unveiled.
While some fans were in awe at the ‘hotness’ of the poster, many called it a ‘cheap copy’ of Aamir Khan’s PK.
The poster of PK had Aamir Khan posing nude with a radio hiding his private parts and a bouquet offlowers does the same jobfor Vijay in Liger’s poster.
It also marks Ananya Pandey’s debut in Telugu Cinema and Vijay’s debut in Hindi Cinema.
Takishk Bagchi and Vikram Montrose have produced the music of the film.
It faced many delays in the release due to COVID but is now set to be released worldwide on 25 August,2022.
