The last spin-off from the animated Despicable Me franchise, Minions: The
Rise Of Gru has finally
been released.
The film revolves around the ‘Rise of Gru’ from a kid to a supervillain and finally into
a government spy.
Do not be misguided by the word ‘Supervillain’, Gru is the cutest villain you’ll ever see.
Minions: The Rise of Gru is without a doubt the funniest Hollywood film of 2022 and
one of the funniest in the
whole franchise.
The story is cute, well structured and begins
with the story of an 11
-year old Gru.
One drawback of the film is that it doesn’t focus on the stories of the six minions and is solely focused on Gru.
Though the storyline of the film is entertaining, it is quite plain and follows the same path as other films of the franchise.
The Rise of Gru also keeps you entertained with a lot of
subplots in addition to
the main premise of
the film.
Overall, it is an improvement from the last film in the franchise ‘Minions’.
It is definitely a do not miss and is promising enough to be called one of the best films
of 2022 so far.
