A man smeared cake on the famous portrait of Mona Lisa on 29th May 2022.

The man dressed himself as an elderly woman on a wheelchair to do this disgraceful act.

The painting is securely placed under a glass protection at Louvre Museum in Paris, France.

The intentions of the young man are not cleared yet.

But the man was seen shouting "Think of the Earth, there are people who are destroying the Earth, think about it, That’s why I did this".

Guards of the Louvre Museum escorted the wig-wearing accused away immediately after the incident.

The vicious cake attack left a creamy smear on the glass but the famous work by Leonardo da Vinci was unharmed.

Da Vinci painted this world famous portrait of Lisa Del Giocondo during the years 1503-1517.

It was acquired by King Francis I in the 16th century & later it has been on permanent display in the Louvre Museum since 1797.

This painting also holds the Guinness World Record for the highest known painting insurance valuation in history at US$100 million in 1962.
