Punjabi music legend Balwinder Safri passed away at the age of 63 on Tuesday  night in the UK.

The singer was hospitalized on April 20th this year following concerns about his heart.

After two days the singer underwent a planned triple bypass heart surgery.

After the surgery the singer suffered complications & was thus taken back to the operation theatre for further surgery.

After the surgery, he remained in a coma with the CT scan showing a damage in his brain.

After spending 86 days in the New Cross hospital, Wolverhampton, the singer  was discharged.

But he could not survive and passed away at the age of 63.

Balwinder Safri was popularly known for his folk music & was a prominent name, especially in the British Asian music industry.

His songs including ‘Chan Mere Makhna’, ‘Pao Bhangra’, ‘Paar Linghade’ were widely loved by the music lovers.

Many Punjabi and Bollywood celebrities including Diljit Dosanjh, Gurdas Maan, Neeru Bajwa, Jassie Gill & Guru Randhawa condoled the demise of this Punjabi  music legend.
