Akshay Kumar's highly anticipated bollywood drama movie Rakshabandhan hits the cinema.

Rakshabandhan is directed by renowned filmmaker Anand L Rai.

The movie stars Bhumi Pednekar, Sadia Khatib, Sahejmeen Kaur, Neeraj Sood, Sahil Mehta & others.

Movie's plot revolves around Lala Kedarnath (Akshay), who runs a Chaat Soap in Chandni Chowk & is the only elder brother to 4 sisters.

Lala is riddled by a promise he made to his mother at her deathbed, now waiting to marry all of his 4 sisters before tying the knot with his childhood beloved Sapna (Bhumi).

Movie gives you no space to breathe with its storyline focussing on dowry & conditions one face while marrying their daughters or sisters.

There are some scenes & dialogues that goes over the top & forces you to think "if these things are still happening around".

Talking about the performances, Akshay was outstanding as Lala & other actors were also good in their respective roles as well.

Anand's direction was quite good but he could have done better in the writing department.

Overall, Rakshabandhan is a good watch that will not allow you to come out Dry-Eyed from  the theatres
