Twitter has introduced its latest update for the verified accounts.

The platform’s labels and check mark feature has received a new update.

Now there will be three different colours for the Twitter check marks.

A gold check mark displays that the account represents an official business and is subcribed to Twitter  Blue for Business.

Grey check mark represents that the account belongs to a government official or a multilateral organization.

There are official labels that represent commercial companies.

There are also separate labels for state affiliation on accounts that are under the control of state- affiliated media.

Twitter has seen huge changes made after the recent takeover  by Elon Musk.

The twitter’s official verification check mark was made available for all users with a $8 monthly subscription fee.

It caused a lot of confusion between original and fake verified accounts, leading to further updates.
