Twitter is reportedly working on the payments feature.

Twitter is seeking to introduce the payments feature due to drop  in advertising incomes.

Twitter is facing a drop in advertising income since Elon Musk's takeover.

The development of the payments feature is being led by  Esther Crawford.

Esther Crawford is the director of product management at Twitter.

As per a report, Crawdors has emerged to be a key lieutenant to Musk.

Elon Musk had previously said that the Twitter acquisition would be part of  a master plan to create "the  everything app".

Elon said that Twitter will be a service that would offer social networking, payments eligibility & e-commerce shopping as well.

Prior to Elon Musk's takeover, Twitter was exploring allowing its users to receive tips, or digital payments,  from their followers.
