The trial for the defamation case between Johnny Depp & Amber Heard started in April 2022 and concluded  in June 2022.

The jury ordered Heard to pay Depp $15 million in damages & ordered Depp to pay $2 million to Amber.

If Amber and Depp’s damages are netted against each other, Amber will have to pay  a total of $10.35 million in damages.

Heard’s lawyer stated that her client can't afford to pay Depp the $10.35 million she owes Depp in damages.

So what happens if Heard can’t pay Depp’s damages?

Depp could collect his damages through the wages of Heard's upcoming movies.

Depp can seize her home in Yucca Valley, California as well.

Heard can pay money to depp by selling her 3-BHK home that she purchased in 2019 for $570K, The home is currently valued at $1 million.

Depp could also serve her with a summons. He can seize any asset from Amber & sell it at auction to collect his compensatory money.

Heard may have to file for bankruptcy if she cannot pay the damages she owes Depp.
