The Delhi High Court on Friday issued a legal notice over a defamation suit filed by Union Minister Smriti Irani.

The legal notice was issued to Congress leaders Jairam Ramesh, Pawan Khera  & Netta D’Souza.

Smriti Irani asked the Congress leaders to delete their tweets regarding the fake allegations against her daughter.

Union Minister stated that this a conspiracy against her to defame & injure her &  her daughter’s reputation  & moral character.

In the tweet, the Congress leaders accused her daughter for running an illegal restaurant & bar in Goa.

In the tweet, they asked the Union Minister Smriti Irani to resign from her designation.

"We look forward to presenting the facts before the court,we'll challenge & disprove the spin being put out by Ms. Irani," tweeted by Jairam Ramesh.

Addressing the media in Delhi, Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera said the  same as written in  the tweet.

Union Minister Smriti Irani Calls it a “malicious” accusation.

Irani gave a bold reply, saying that her daughter was the target because “her mother does press conferences against Gandhi family."
