Netizens aren't leaving anyone or anything in the boycott game  these days.

After #boycottLaalSinghChaddha, now #BoycottRakshaBandhanMovie is trending on twitter.

This hashtag is against the upcoming movie of Akshay Kumar named Raksha Bandhan.

Rakha Bandhan is set to be released on August 11 locking its horns with Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chadha, which itself is facing  huge backlash.

Akshay's movie was hailed by the critics for a unique story  shown in the trailer.

But there's a boycott trend on social media that has gained  momentum of late.

Akshay's movie has run into a row after the writer Kanika Dhillon's allegedly Hinduphobic tweets surfaced online.

Several tweets of the writer in which Kanika has apparently targeted the BJP & PM Narendra Modi recently went viral  on social media.

Her Hinduphobic tweet in reference to Gau Mata outraged a massive controversy against her  upcoming movie.

Meanwhile, a section of netizens have also dug up Akshay's old interviews & tweets where he is heard talking about people wasting milk whilst offering it to Lord Shiva.
