Singh is King is a Bollywood film, with a hit story and superhit music & songs. It’s every song sounds more beautiful than another. Also, there is a song, in which Akshay in Green Turban and Katrina in pink saree is looking stunning. The name of this song is ‘Jee Karda’, which is sung by Labh Janjua.
But are you aware of the fact that before finalizing Janjua for this song, Pritam failed most of the popular singers of Punjabi Industry? Yes, this is right. Starting from Balkaar Siddhu, Jazzy B, Jasbir Jassi, Harbhajan Maan, this opportunity was given to Sardool Sikandar as well, and Sardool’s voice and style were finally liked by Pritam. But, Sardool believed this song was not the type of songs he sings, so he asked Pritam to change the lyrics, then only he will record this. Pritam told Sardool changing lyrics wasn’t an option because the video of the song was already shot with the help of dummy song. Sardool asked if they can reshoot the video, but Pritam denied this as well because it was not possible to shoot the video again in Egypt. And that is when Sardool suggested Pritam, to get this song recorded by Labh Janjua. This is how Labh got to be part of this song.

ਸਿੰਘ ਇਜ਼ ਕਿੰਗ, ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਦੀ ਓਹ ਫਿਲਮ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗਾਣੇ ਇੱਕ ਤੋ ਵੱਧ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਨੇ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਓਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਔਰ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਲਮ ਦਾ ਟਾਈਟਲ ਟਰੈਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਇਜ਼ ਕਿੰਗ। ਪਰ ਫਿਲਮ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਗੀਤ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਅਕਸ਼ੇ ਹਰੇ ਰੰਗ ਦੀ ਪੱਗ ਤੇ ਕੈਟਰੀਨਾ ਗੁਲਾਬੀ ਸਾੜੀ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਮਾਲ ਲਗਦੇ ਨੇ। ਗਾਣੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਹੈ ‘ ਜੀ ਕਰਦਾ ‘ ਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਲਾਭ ਜੰਜੂਆ ਨੇ।
ਪਰ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਗਾਣੇ ਲਈ ਲਾਭ ਜੰਜੂਆ ਤੋ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਿੰਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੇਲ੍ਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਦੀ। ਬਲਕਾਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ, ਜੈਜ਼ੀ ਬੀ, ਜਸਬੀਰ ਜੱਸੀ, ਹਰਭਜਨ ਮਾਨ, ਤੋ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਮੌਕਾ ਸਰਦੂਲ ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਤਕ ਗਿਆ। ਪਰ ਸਰਦੂਲ ਨੇ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਗਾਣਾ ਓਹਨਾ ਦੇ ਟਾਈਪ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਨਹੀਂ, ਇਸਲਈ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਗਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਬੋਲ ਬਦਲਣ ਪੈਣਗੇ, ਤਾਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਗਾ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਫੇਰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੁਮਕਿਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਗਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਵੀਡੀਉ ਡੰਮੀ ਗਾਣੇ ਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹੀ ਸ਼ੂਟ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਸਰਦੂਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਦੋਬਾਰਾ ਵੀਡੀਉ ਸ਼ੂਟ ਕਰ ਲੈਣ, ਪਰ ਇਜ਼ਿਪਟ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਵੀਡੀਉ ਦੋਬਾਰਾ ਸ਼ੂਟ ਕਰਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਸੀ। ਫੇਰ ਜਾਕੇ ਸਰਦੂਲ ਨੇ ਲਾਭ ਜੰਜੂਆ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਝਾਇਆ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਗਾਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਦੇ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਗਾਇਆ।
