Shah Rukh Khan is the Badshah of the Bollywood Film Industry. No, we don’t literally bow our heads in front of him, but everyone’s hat is off after watching him act. Shah Rukh Khan is a name that we all are aware of today, but it has not been the case always.
Today, nobody can even imagine slapping SRK and that too without any reason. But can you believe there was a time when a lady literally slapped Shah Rukh Khan just because the actor had shared his seat with her (who was standing).
Sounds really weird! Right? The same would have been our reaction. But believe us the entire story of this incident is even more fun and surprising. SRK once talked about this incident from his first train journey from Delhi to Mumbai.

Yes, it was the first time when king Khan was on his way to the city of dreams; Mumbai. The actor narrated the incident as, “Jab pehli baar main Mumbai aya tha, toh main train pe aya tha aur main apko ek kissa batata hun, mujhe malum nahi tha ki jab train Delhi se chalkar Mumbai ati hai toh woh interstate, intercity ya across country ki train hoti hai. Jaise hi Mumbai mein aya woh local train ban jati hai.”
And he went on to add, “Toh birth tha hamare paas, main aur mere doston ke paas, toh jaise hi woh local train bani toh humko laga, Delhi mei local trains nahi thi na, toh humko laga ki ye birth abhi bhi hamara hai. Toh kuch log baithne aye wahan, toh humne kaha ki, ‘ hato hato ye hamara birth hai, hamne iska paisa diya hua hai’. toh ek lady ayi unko maine kaha ‘aap baith jayen, lekin jo apke sath haina woh nahi baith sakte kyunki ye birth mera hai’.”
And in reaction to this, the lady slapped him and told him, ‘jo mere sath mein hai woh bhi baithainge, tumhara birth nahi hai sab baithte hain’.

Shah Rukh Khan did not know that his train had actually become a Mumbai local in Mumbai, and this led him to get a free slap from an unknown lady. We are sure, this incident from Shah Rukh Khan past years has now helped a lot of us, who did not know that trains become Mumbai locals in Mumbai.
At least his fans now won’t argue over a seat that they had paid for during the journey!
