We all have to go through an unexpected struggle to reach an exceptional level in life. And that’s the reason why every successful person today carries a struggle story from his past.
Happy Raikoti is also one such artist who has experienced a lot of difficulties and struggles in his life. No doubt he is one of the most popular and successful singers and lyricists of the Punjabi Music Industry. But we all know his life wasn’t like this always.
There was a time when he used to sell jeans and clothes at wholesale prices to the shops.
In an interview, he revealed that he used to buy clothes from Ludhiana and used to carry them in a bag (bora) and travel to Jagraon. He also had a scooter but because Jagraon Bus Stand charged 5 rupees for parking, he used to park it at the Civil Hospital which was approx 150-200 meters away from the bus stand.
And to save those 5 rupees he used to walk to the Civil Hospital from the Bus Stand with the bag of clothes to sell.
This in no way is an easy story to be narrated. While talking about his struggle and difficult days, Happy usually gets emotional. But we are glad and super proud of him for how he has changed his life.
It is a very popular saying that a person with talent cannot stay poor for too long. And Happy Raikoti has proved it.
