For this, he did 1 year of Diploma in Hotel Management and got his training placed in Piccadily, Chandigarh. He did all and after that was fortunate enough to get a sitting job of recording bookings only. ਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਬੁੱਟਰ ਨੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੋ ਬੱਬਲ ਰਾਏ ਦੀ ਵੀਡੀਉ ਵੇਖੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਸੋਚ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਵੀ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਕਮਾ ਕੇ ਗਾਣਾ ਗਾਉਗਾ। ਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ 1 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਡਿਪਲੋਮਾ ਹੋਟਲ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿੱਤਾ ਤੇ ਓਹਨਾ ਦੀ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਪਿੱਕੈਡਲੀ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗ ਗਈ।
ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਕੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਨੇ। ਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਹੀ ਸਬ ਕਿੱਤਾ ਤੇ ਓਸ ਤੋ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਿਰਫ ਬੈਠਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਓਹਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ ਬੁਕਿੰਗ ਨੋਟ ਕਰਨੀ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਇਸ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਸਭਤੋਂ ਖਾਸ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਹੋਟਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਸੀ, ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਗਿੱਲ ਅਕਸਰ ਓਸ ਹੋਟਲ ਵਿਚ ਰੁਕਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਸੀ। ਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਰੂਮ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਕੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਗਿੱਲ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਓਹਨਾ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਕੰਮ ਹੋਏਗਾ ਤਾ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਵੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਗਿੱਲ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਦਿਖਦੇ ਨੇ।
