Watch Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha On This OTT Platform!

No one can argue against the fact that Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha was one of the most talked about and popular films of 2022. Though it did not earn well at the box office, it won in earning good reviews from most critics. And after a miserable performance at the box office, Laal Singh Chaddha has finally been released on a leading OTT platform. 

Earlier it was announced that Laal Singh Chaddha will be released on Netflix. But after the Aamir Khan starrer failed at the box office, it was reported that Netflix was no more interested in buying Laal Singh Chaddha.

A source close to the development had stated, “Aamir and Viacom wanted close to Rs 200 crores for the digital rights of Laal Singh Chaddha and they demanded a minimum of a 3-month gap between theatrical and OTT release from Netflix. But when the film released in theatres on 11 August, Netflix was negotiating with Aamir. Now that the film has proved a colossal disaster at the boxoffice, Netflix is no longer interested in buying Laal Singh Chadha.The negotiations have been called off.”

It was then said that after Netflix’s cancellation, Laal Singh Chaddha will be released online on Viacom’s OTT platform Voot. But all this has been proven to be fake and rumors.

Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha is finally streaming on an OTT Platform and as per the initial reports and announcement, it has been released on Netflix only. Yes, you can watch the film on Netflix now.

Featuring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles, Laal Singh Chaddha was released on 11 August 2022 after facing many difficulties including the ‘Boycott’ trend. Laal Singh Chaddha is the official remake of ‘Forrest Gump’. The film was trending on various social media platforms like Twitter as hashtags like #BoycottBollywood and #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha remained trending for various days. People bashed Aamir Khan for his statements in the past and for the film being a remake.

The film witnessed a clash with Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan. It was one of the biggest clashes of 2022, but unfortunately, both films failed to collect good at the box office.
