The song was released in November 2019 and when the poster of the song came out, everyone was surprised that Akshay Kumar will now work in a Punjabi song too, which means something special & really big is about to happen. In fact, even now, the song is one of the saddest songs of last year!
But, do you know, Akshay Kumar suggested Jani to the role of Ammy Virk in the song, but Jani said that he is not camera-friendly, and then Ammy Virk was approached for the role. If you have listened to this song, you may have noticed that in one of the opening scenes, Akshay Kumar actually cried, which everyone admired seeing.
In fact, this view is so powerful & natural that even if we look at an old relative of ours after a long time in this state. Anyone won’t be able to hold their tears. But most tragically we felt the last part of this song because everyone for a moment thought this song will definitely have a happy ending but this song was given a sad ending.

ਨਵੰਬਰ 2019 ‘ਚ ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਗੀਤ ਰੀਲੀਜ਼ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸ ਗੀਤ ਦਾ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਸਭ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਅਕਸ਼ੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਹੁਣ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗੀਤ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਮਤਲਬ ਕੁੱਝ ਤਾਂ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਦਰਅਸਲ ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਗੀਤ ਉਸ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਭਰੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ।
ਪਹਿਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਗੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਮੀ ਵਿਰਕ ਦੇ ਰੋਲ ਲਈ ਅਕਸ਼ੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਜਾਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਜਾਨੀ ਇਹ ਰੋਲ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਜਾਨੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੈਮਰਾ ਫਰੈਂਡਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਇਸ ਰੋਲ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਐਮੀ ਵਿਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਅਕਸ਼ੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕੇਸਰੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੇਕਰ ਇਹ ਗੀਤ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਧਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਿ੍ਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਅਕਸ਼ੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਸਲ ਵਿਚ ਰੋਏ ਨੇ। ਇਸ ਦਿ੍ਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਦਰਅਸਲ ਇਹ ਦਿ੍ਸ਼ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਏਨਾ ਕਮਾਲ ਦਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਫੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੇਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਇਸ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਸੁਭਾਵਿਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਰੋ ਹੀ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਦੁਖਾਂਤਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਗੀਤ ਦਾ ਅਖੀਰਲਾ ਭਾਗ ਲੱਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਗੀਤ ਦੀ ਸੁਖਾਂਤਮਈ ਅੰਤ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਗੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਖਾਂਤਮਈ ਅੰਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
