But one day prior to its release, Sidhu Moosewala shared a picture on his Instagram story, a mugshot of a criminal named ‘El Chapo’ and the audience are curious to know about the man.
Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera, known popularly as El Chapo, is a Mexican former Drug Lord and former leader of one of the biggest criminal organizations in the world, Sinaloa Cartel. He is often regarded as the most powerful drug trafficker in the world.
Joaquín earned the name El Chapo due to his short height. El Chapo means ‘Shorty’ in Spanish. His net worth was estimated to be more than 4 billion USD (2016) before his arrest.
The authorities that wanted to lay a hand on the man had placed a 3.8 million USD prize money in Mexico and 5 million USD prize money on his head in the United States. He was first arrested in 1993 and was sentenced for 20 years in jail, but he escaped in 2001 from the maximum-security prison. He was again arrested in 2014 but he escaped even before the formal sentencing in 2015. Currently, he is incarcerated in ADX Florence, Colorado, US.
The photo that Sidhu shared was the mugshot of this drug lord, whose influence and wealth is estimated to be the same as Pablo Escobar. However, it is not the original mugshot but rather a picture from a Netflix series based on the story of the man, ‘El Chapo’. The audience are very suspicious because Sidhu shared this screenshot of These Days release date. Maybe a verse in the song dropping tomorrow talks about El Chapo can be expected.
