The man is Alphonse Gabriel Capone (Al Capone), known as “Scarface” in popular media. He was one of the biggest gangsters in history. Born in New York, U.S, Al Capone was the co-founder and the boss of “The Chicago Outfit” (popularly known as Chicago Mafia). The Chicago Outfit is an Italian-American organized Crime syndicate, founded in 1910 and is still active to date.

Al Capone got involved in crime at a very young age. Many newspapers published at the time labeled him as “Public Enemy No. 1”. Capone garnered his wealth mainly from prostitution, gambling, looting, illegal smuggling of alcohol (bootlegging) and other illegal activities. He created a huge wealth out of these activities and as of 2021, his wealth is estimated to have been $1.3 billion dollars.
