Who Is Rukhsana Kausar? Shraddha Kapoor To Play Kashmiri Girl Who K*lled A Militant

The Bollywood Film Industry is picking stories from history to make movies on them and make the tales even more popular. And a new report of Pinkvilla has confirmed that a movie is being made on Rukhsana Kausar and her family who bravely fought with Lashkar-E-Taiba (LeT) militants.

A source close to the versatile actress told Pinkvilla, “Makers of the film wanted someone who would look like a 20-year-old onscreen to play Rukhsana. Shraddha undoubtedly will do justice to the role. And hence she has been roped into the movie. Shraddha’s role in the film is completely opposite of what she has portrayed in most of her movies.”

If you are unaware and wondering who is Rukhsana Kausar, this article will help you out. In 2007, Rukhsana along with her younger brother Aijaz faced terrorists and killed Laskar-E-Taiba terror cell leader, Abu Osama.

At night, when three terrorists forcefully entered their house, Rukhsana attacked Abu Osama with an axe. She then snatched his AK47 and shot dead the militant. She threw another AK47 towards her brother and the duo then open-fired shots at the militants.

This situation forced the militants to run away in order to save their lives. The family then reported the incident to the police and also handed over the weapons.
