Who Was Trouble? 34 YO American Rapper Shot Dead In Georgia

A saddening piece of news is surfacing the internet from Georgia. Mariel Semonte Orr popularly known as Trouble was an American rapper from Atlanta. He was shot dead in Georgia and was found lying dead with a gunshot wound on 5 June.

Reports of USA Today stated, “He was found lying on the ground and suffering from a gunshot wound on Sunday at 3:20 a.m. at Lake St. James Apartments in Conyers, Rockdale County Sheriff’s spokesperson Jedidia Canty said at a news conference Sunday. 

The 34-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and the sheriff’s office said they secured arrest warrants for suspect Jamichael Jones in relation to the murder. He is not yet in custody.”


Trouble was reportedly visiting a female friend at a complex which later turned into a domestic situation. The accused Jones knew the woman, but he did not know Trouble. 

Since the news went viral, the internet is flooded with mourning posts for the Atlanta rapper.

Trouble rose to fame with the successful release of his debut mixtape December 17th in the year 2011. It was placed at number 23 on Complex Magazine’s The 25 Mixtapes of 2011. After that, he was also included in Complex’s list of ‘15 New Rappers To Watch Out For’ in the same year. 

As per the information on Wikipedia, in 2013, XXL Magazine also counted him in its list of ’15 Atlanta Rappers You Should Know’. Trouble also went on to be a part of various superhit and much talk about projects like Lupe Fiasco’s album Tetsuo & Youth, along with Glasses Malone, Trae Tha Truth, Billy Blue, Buk and Fam-Lay in the track “Chopper” in 2015. 

In 2016, Trouble became a part of rapper YFN Lucci’s single “Key to the Streets,” which peaked at number 70 on the Billboard Hot 100.

He was much loved and his music was celebrated across the world. His murder has left his fans shattered and the artists in shock.
