In the clip, the traveller expresses confusion over a uniquely Indian issue: “Why does no one in India ever have change?” The man shared his frustration on Instagram, saying he tried to pay ₹100 for an item costing ₹20 but was told there was no change. This, he says, kept happening to him across several places in India.
The clip quickly went viral, drawing thousands of comments from Indians who either laughed along or tried to explain the reason behind this widespread struggle. Some said it’s a result of people hoarding coins and smaller denominations. Others jokingly said it’s India’s version of “culture shock” for tourists.
