Roadies 18: The Season Ends With Two Winners This Time! Here’s Who Lifted The Trophy

The biggest adventure reality show on television has come to an end with 2 winners for the first time ever in history. Season 18 of Roadies was hosted by Sonu Sood and it was shot entirely in foreign locations (South Africa).

Apart from Sonu Sood hosting the season, this season came with many other changes as well. The format of the show was also different than usual this time. There was an in-game point system and a novel ‘Buddy Pairs’ concept in which new contestants were paired with former roadies. Although this season became a hit, fans loved it and supported it a lot.

Beating all the other buddy pairs, Ashish and Nandu became the ultimate winners and lifted the winner’s trophy. All the buddy pairs worked hard to win the cash prize of 10,00,000. Nandu expressed her happiness at the victory and stated, “This is my dream. And I have lived it and won it unreal.” While, Ashish said, “I can’t believe that I have actually won the show. Each contestant was better than the other. I had not come on the show with the thought of winning it. I just wanted to enjoy the roadies journey which is why I was never on anyone’s side.”

Ashish also talked about his journey in Splitsvilla in an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla. Ashish stated, ‘When I did Roadies, I became famous but lost in the quarter-finals. Then I also did Splitsvilla. I literally ruled the show and got the hype but lost by 12 seconds, which was worse but I won this season by 12 minutes. This was the battle of the best and more difficult. I am very excited about winning this show as I hail from Dehradun and I had to understand how things operate and shows are done. I used to feel these shows are all fake but after stepping into this world, I realised it’s true.’
