World’s Top 10 Best Companies Of 2023,TIME Magazine Releases A List

TIME Magazine and an online data gathering and visualization platform Statista have released a list of Top 100 World’s Best Companies Of 2023. The top three companies in the list are Microsoft, Apple and Alphabet. Infosys, an IT major is the only Indian company that has made it to the list at the 64th position with a score of 88.38/100.

TIME Magazine in a release said, “Microsoft, Apple, Alphabet (the company that owns Google) and Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook) were the top four companies in a new statistical ranking of 750 of the world’s best companies by Statista and TIME, which are based on a formula of revenue growth, employee satisfaction surveys, and rigorous environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG, or sustainability) data”. 

If we talk about the top ten companies of 2023, below is the list-

This list is based on the formula of revenue growth, employee satisfaction surveys and rigorous ESG data( Economic, Social and Corporate Governance data). 

But the magazine also gave an example of big companies like Microsoft who have made it to the top 5 positions of the list. As per them, these companies are also doing good for the investors, employees and the environment. 

The magazine said “Microsoft, for example, the top company in the global rankings, made $72 billion in its most recent fiscal year, a 63 per cent increase from 2020, while also reducing overall emissions by 0.5 per cent,”

The magazine further said “The rankings show just who dominates the world economic order, with fast-moving tech and business-services companies unseating the manufacturers and consumer-goods companies that once drove the global economy”.
