“You Dare To Come To Bengal”: TMC Chief And West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee Warns BJP

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party, stating, “they claim that after Maharashtra, it will be Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bengal. Try coming to Bengal, you have to cross the Bay of Bengal, where the crocodiles would bite you, in the Sundarban forests, the Royal Bengal Tiger would bite you, in North Bengal, the elephants would roll over you!

CM Mamata Banerjee even questioned the intentions of the Central government for admitting her arrested minister Partha Chatterjee to the SSKM hospital. “Why only the hospital which has the Centre’s touch? Why Command hospital? Why ESI hospital? What’s your intention? It’s an insult to the people of Bengal. You think that the states are the culprits and the Centre is innocent? You are because of the states,” said CM Banerjee.

Mamata Banerjee’s minister and close aide Partha Chatterjee was arrested by the ED on Saturday in a money laundering case. Now CM Mamata Banerjee seems to distance herself from the arrested minister, however, she added, “I never spare anyone, have got my own people sacked. But if you try to try to throw ink on me, be ready to face the same. The BJP can’t break TMC by using agencies.”

CM Mamata Banerjee’s statement is seen as a major attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Central government. The arrest of her minister Partha Chatterjee, and BJP’s various allegations on Mamata Banerjee, have initiated the war of words between the BJP and the Trinamool Congress.

After the political farewell of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra and the split in Shiv Sena, the other state governments led by several opposition parties, are also in fear of “Operation Lotus”.
