As the investigation into YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra’s suspected involvement in espionage for Pakistan deepens, her apparent connection with Bangladesh has added a new layer of concern for security agencies. Already facing serious allegations of passing on classified and strategic information to Pakistan, she is reportedly linked to multiple Pakistani intelligence operatives, including those associated with the ISI.
Haryana Police, which is spearheading the investigation, is examining whether Malhotra used her social media presence to promote narratives aligned with Pakistan and influence local audiences. During their probe, officials reportedly uncovered key evidence pointing to her planned visit to Bangladesh.
A visa application form—though undated—has surfaced, listing her name and a temporary address in Uttara, Dhaka. Investigators believe this visit may have been a covert attempt to connect with operatives in Bangladesh under the pretext of shooting a video.
“The spy video blogger was also grilled by National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials on Tuesday over alleged links with Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIO).”
Authorities are also reviewing her recent international travel history, which includes trips to Pakistan, China, and other countries, to assess whether these visits were part of a broader espionage network.
Despite the gravity of the accusations, Malhotra has reportedly shown no remorse during questioning and claims she is being persecuted for expressing her opinions.
“She was being targeted for her free speech.”
The allegations against her include leaking sensitive military data to Pakistani agents, a matter that has become even more alarming in light of the recent deadly attacks in Pahalgam. Her intended travel to Bangladesh—especially following political changes there—has only heightened national security concerns.
