Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has been making headlines lately, not just for his performances on the field but also due to developments in his personal life. Following his official divorce from Dhanashree Verma, speculation about his love life has been rife, especially after he was seen with Instagram influencer and radio jockey Mahvash at the ICC Champions Trophy final.
Amid swirling rumors linking her to Chahal, Mahvash has now set the record straight, asserting that she is currently single. Speaking on a podcast, she dismissed the speculation and shared her perspective on relationships and marriage.
“I am very much single, and I don’t understand the concept of marriage in today’s time,” she remarked, elaborating on her views about modern relationships.
Mahvash emphasized that she does not believe in casual dating, revealing that her approach to relationships is deeply serious. “I am someone who would date only when I have to marry. I don’t go on casual dates because I will only date someone I want to get married to. I am that person, like in the film Dhoom, who sees his wife and kids behind the bike,” she explained.
She further added, “Shaadi ka concept samajh nahi aa raha hai (I don’t understand the concept of marriage), so I have put a halt to it.”
In a surprising revelation, Mahvash disclosed that she had been engaged at the young age of 19 but later decided to call it off when she turned 21. This experience, she said, shaped her outlook on relationships, making her cautious about commitments that lack a clear future.
With Mahvash clarifying her stance, it seems the rumors surrounding her and Chahal can finally be put to rest.
