While the Indian television industry is busy working on overdramatic and extremely weird scenes and sequences in daily soaps, the fans had developed an interest in Pakistani serials a long time ago. Zindagi Gulzar Hai and Humsafar are two shows which earned massive popularity among Indian fans.

Zee5 has decided to launch its TV channel Zindagi and has treated the fans will re-release of Zindagi Gulzar Hai. Not only this, there are many other Pakistani serials also which are being aired on Zindagi.
Zindagi Gulzar Hai, being the most popular and loved one stars Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed in the lead roles. This serial was the reason behind Fawad’s massive popularity in India and also got him an offer in Bollywood movie Khubsoorat.
As per Hindustan Times, ‘The Pakistani shows returning to India through channel Zindagi include; Kitni Girhain Baaki Hain directed by actor Angeline Malik, Aunn Zara a 2013 show directed by Haissam Hussain starring Osman Khalid Butt and Maya Ali and Sadqay Tumhare, a 2014 show starring Mahira Khan, Adnan Malik, Samiya Mumtaz, Qavi Khan, Farhan Ally Agha and others.’

Channel Zindagi and its daily soaps have started airing on Indian Televisions from 23 May on Tata Play Zindagi- Channel number 154, Dish Zindagi Active- Channel number 117 and D2H Zindagi Active- Channel number 117.
