India’s third Moon Mission ‘Chandrayaan 3’ successfully touched down and made a soft landing on the south pole of the Moon, and India became first one to have done so. The whole country united with pride and excitement on 23rd August’s evening, celebrating this huge success of ISRO.
But, amidst all this did you know the Four Indian Celebrities who own a piece of land on the Moon. Yes! Real estate prices all over the world are soaring through the roof but still there are some celebrities who are managing to buy Land on Moon too.

1.Shah Rukh Khan
In 2009, SRK revealed in an interview that there is a kind lady from Australia, who has been buying a little land for him every year on his birthday. She had been gifting him Land on the Moon since a long time now.
In an old interview with Zee News he had said, “An Australian lady buys a little land on the moon for me every year on my birthday. She has been buying it for a while now and I get these certificates from the Lunar Republic Society. She writes me colourful emails. I feel blessed to have the love of so many people worldwide.”
According to an India TV News report, 1 acre (approximately 43,560 sq ft, or 4,047 sq meters) costs US $37.50 (Rs 1758.75).

2. Sushant Singh Rajput
We all know Sushant’s love for Astronomy and how much he loved to observe space through his telescope. But, the late Sushant Singh Rajput also owns a piece of Land on Moon.
He owns the far side of the Moon, the area known as the Mare Muscoviense or the sea of Muscovy. Sushant paid around 55 Lakhs to buy the Land on Moon. Sushant owned a telescope named Meade 14″ LX600, to watch the piece of land.
3. Ankit Gupta And Priyanka Chahar
Ankit Gupta And Priyanka Chahar worked as lead characters in ‘Udaariyaan’ and the duo won lot of hearts for their both onscreen and offscreen chemistry. They grabbed eyeballs after appearing on Bigg Boss 16.
One of their die heart fan gifted a very unique and special thing to them. The fan gifted the duo one acre of Land on Moon. Priyanka and Ankit also have a property on moon. The area is located in 6 squares South and 6 squares East of the extreme Northwest corner of the recognised Lunar Chart.
