In the world of cinema, we all know what the impact of the big screen is on every age. But the trend of turning movies into animated series was started long way before from the era of 80’s.
Here we are presenting you the list of some movies which were later turned into animated series for children, like Table no 21 is the series of “Krishna Baal Leela”.
1: Koi Mil Gaya
Hrithik Roshan’s super hit movie “Koi mil Gaya” was our favourite of all time during our childhood days. We loved the pair of Rohit and Jadoo in the movie and later the most loved character Jadoo turned into an animated character series titled “J Bole Toh Jadoo” which was produced by Graphiti Multimedia. It was co-produced and aired on Nickelodeon. The show was the first locally produced live action-animation show in India.
2: Krrish
2006 released movie Krrish was one of the favourite superheros of the kids, which was originally played by Hritik Roshan in the film. Later, in the year 2003, we saw kid Krrish airing on television which was produced by Toonz Animation, from the banner Filmkraft Productions. The series was loved by the kids making it become one of the favorite cartoons of India.
3: Singham
Action film Singham directed by Rohit Shetty and starring Ajay Devgan was a blockbuster hit. The film Earned 876 million in India on the first day of release, and people loved the character Singham a lot, especially the kids. The popularity of Singham among kids lead to release of animated series called Little Singham which instantly became favourite of children.
4: Fukrey
Superhit comedy film Fukrey which was released in 2013, was based on the lives of four friends and how they manage to solve their problems. Directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and starring Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal & Manjot Singh,this fim slowly became the sleeper hit. In 2019 the characters Choocha Hunny and Laali were launched in a new animated series which named Fukrey Boyzzz. The audience got to witness madness and their Friendship which is equal to Fukrapanti.
5: Baahubali : The beginning
Indian epic action film Bhaahubali: The beginning, released in 2015 is a masterpiece which i directed by S.S Rajamouli, Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni and starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah. In the film Shiva is an adventurous young man who helps his love Avanthika to rescue from Devasena, the former queen of Mahishmati who is now a prisoner under the tyrannical rule of king Bhallaladeva. After getting the full support and appreciation from the public we saw the animated series named Baahubali: The lost legends and it has 5 seasons in total which was loved by the kids and gained much appreciation from the kids as well.
6: Golmaal
Golmaal was based on Mihir Bhuta’s Gujarati play Aflatoon which was based on Harsh Shivsharan’s Marathi play Ghar Ghar. In the movie, we see Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Sharma Joshi, and Tusshar Kapoor along with Rimi sen and Paresh Rawal in the main lead. After getting love from the audience, one comedy based series was released titled Golmaal Jr. which is going on-air on Nickelodeon Sonic. It is one of the first originals of Nickelodeon Sonic. The show was re-telecasted on Nickelodeon India from 21 September 2020.
7: Simmba
We all know that 2018 released movie Simmba was an action film directed by Rohit Shetty, staring Ranveer Singh, Sonu Sood, and Sara Ali Khan, with Ajay Devgn reprising his role of Bajirao Singham. The film follows Sangram “Simmba” Bhalerao, a corrupt police officer hailing from the same town as Singham, who is forced to lead a more righteous path after tragedy strikes those near him. After getting more popular among peoples Rohit Shetty is all set to introduce Smashing Simmba which is the animated version of the movie, this show launched on the channel Pogo from November, 2020.
8: Dabangg
Dabangg Khan is also set to hit the animated world with their mini version, as we all know that action comedy movie directed by Abhinav Kashyap, produced by Malaika Arora and Arbaaz khan, in which we see Salman Khan in the main lead with Sonakshi Sinha, while on another side Sonu Sood plays the role of the main antagonist. The film marks the debut of Arbaaz as a producer and Kashyap as a director. After getting a priceless response from the audience makers is all set to introduce the Dabangg khan cartoon. The title is not revealed yet.
