Bhagwant Mann, the chief minister of the Punjab, is getting married on Thursday, tomorrow. It has been reported that the wedding ceremony will be a small function, where only the close ones of Bhagwant Mann’s family, along with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and deputy CM Manish Sisodia with their families have been invited.
Mann’s first wife, and their two children reside in the United States. Mann and his first wife got separated in 2016 when Mann was the Member of Parliament from Sangrur Lok Sabha constituency. Recently, during the oath ceremony of Bhagwant Mann as Punjab’s chief minister, both his son came from the US to attend the function.
Meanwhile, for the occasion of CM Mann’s wedding in Chandigarh, preparations have been made. There are reports that some selective individuals will be attending this wedding. Dr. Gurpreet Kaur is the name of Bhagwant Mann’s bride.
As per the media reports, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur is close to Bhagwant Mann’s family. She and CM Mann know each other for a long time. Gurpreet, as per the media reports, belongs to Hisar in Haryana. Reportedly, CM Mann’s mother wanted him to get married again. As the media reports claim, CM Mann’s mother and sister had already chosen Dr. Gurpreet as his bride.
The Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha is the one who is looking after all the arrangements for the wedding function of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann in Chandigarh.
