Sidhu Moosewala is no more just a Punjabi singer. He decided to pursue politics as a career last year and has been making headlines ever since. Now that he has even got the MLA ticket from Mansa and will be contesting Punjab Polls 2022 from Mansa Constituency, he is interacting with the people of his area.
Recently, a video has surfaced showing Sidhu Moosewala giving a speech to a crowd. Many people seem to be interacting with the politician and surrounding him. It appears that Sidhu Moosewala is probably guiding the people to not protest against politicians visiting their area, while the crowd seems to be questioning him.
Sidhu can be heard saying that whenever somebody tries to visit you, you guys welcome him with shoes, how will they be able to come here? One among the crowd asked Sidhu, “Tussi Kudiyaan Kuttiyaan” (You beat the girls). Sidhu replied, “Bhrawa Main Kuttiya Dass?” (Did I beat them?).The man counters Sidhu by saying, “Tusi Nahi Sarkar Ne Kuttiya” (Not you but the government did). Sidhu then seems to get irritated by the questioning and lashing out at the man, “O Yar Sarkaar Ch Main Kinne Din Da?” (How long have I been in government?). The conversations might have been regarding the teachers protesting against the government to fulfill their demands.
Reportedly the man who questioned Sidhu during his speech is actually an unemployed man. The event has received mixed reactions from the audience. Many people have lashed out at Sidhu for his behavior towards the man, simply asking him questions.
Sidhu Moosewala got the controversial ticket from Mansa for the Punjab Polls 2022. The elections are scheduled to take place on 20 February 2022. Many constituencies are expected to have tough competitions this time and Mansa is surely one of them. It will be interesting to see who comes out as the perfect choice of people.
