Punjab State Legislative Assembly Elections 2022 are almost at the doorstep and political parties are setting up themselves and preparing for it. Party leaders from all the contesting Political parties are announcing their vision for the upcoming 5 years to develop Punjab in all aspects.
President of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and current Member Of Parliament from Ferozepur constituency, Sukhbir Singh Badal announced Shiromani Akali Dal and Bahujan Samaj Party’s collective vision for the development of Punjab for the next 5 years. Sukhbir Singh Badal is also the Chief Minister Candidate for SAD for the upcoming elections.
The highlight of the announcement remained the alliance’s promise of financial help to the students. He announced a ‘Student Education Card’ which will help the students to extract financial benefits for their studies. It will grant Interest-free Loan upto ₹10 Lakhs to the students for the purpose of College Fees etc. The Loan is also for the students taking coaching classes of IELTS and other courses and will also cover the studies of the students in educational institutes in foreign countries like Canada etc.
The announcement is expected to be very impactful and helpful for the party’s campaign as a big section of Punjab’s youth aspires to study abroad and prepare for tests like IELTS etc. And the SAD-BSP alliance is aiming to give benefits to this section and win the 2022 Punjabi State Assembly Elections.
Prakash Singh Badal, father of Sukhbir Singh Badal, has won the post of the Chief Minister of Punjab for a record 4 times. Sukhbir Singh Badal aims to succeed the legacy of his father and win the 2022 Punjab elections and his announcement of the party’s vision very well states it.
