BLACKPINK is reportedly leaving
YG Entertainment.
Blackpink is leaving the multinational entertainment agency to favor
its own label.
A tweet by Koreaboo confirmed the departure of Blackpink from
YG Entertainment.
Koreaboo tweeted,
"(★BREAKING) BLACKPINK Will Reportedly Leave
YG Entertainment In Favor Of
THE BLACK LABEL"
The South Korean all-girl band is reportedly changing its label
to The Black Label.
As per the recent reports, The k-pop group will finalize the shuffle in
the early days of 2023.
The Black Label is also an affiliated agency of YG Entertainment.
The Black Label is founded by Teddy, and YG Entertainment also holds
20-50% of control over its
subsidiary agency.
Earlier, another K-pop group Ikon announced their departure from
YG Entertainment.
All 6 members of Ikon are leaving YG Entertainment after 7 long years.
