ED named Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez as accused in ₹215 Crore extortion case.

Jacqueline has been named as an accused in the supplementary chargesheet filed by ED in the extortion case against conman Sukesh Chandrashekar.

As per the chargesheet, Jacqueline  was aware of the extortion that was taking place.

As per the chargesheet, photos of Jacqueline & the Sukesh exposed their claimed relationship.

Reports alleged that Chandrasekhar was in communication with Fernandez from Tihar Jail in January 2021.

The agency had said that Sukesh had delivered cash to the tune of Rs 15 lakh to a script writer on behalf of Fernandez.

The amount was given as advance for writing a script of Fernandez's webseries project.

Chandrasekhar supposedly approached Fernandez through her hairdresser.

He introduced himself as the owner of a TV network, a jeweller, and someone close to Home Minister Amit Shah, but Fernandez first remained silent.

Recently, assets worth Rs 7.27 crore of Jacqueline were attached under the anti-money laundering law in connection with Sukesh.
