A new Tamil comedy movie Prince has been released at the box office on October 21, 2022.
Prince stars Sivakarthikeyan, Sathyaraj and Maria Ryaboshapka in pivotal roles.
Helmed by Anudeep, Prince is a comedy drama that revolves around the lead character Anbu (Sivakarthikeyan).
Anbu is being ostracized by the village for a ‘mistake.’ His father Ulaganathan (Sathyaraj) also agrees with the villagers & gets ready to disown his son.
In the past, Anbu, who is irregular as a school teacher, goes to school regularly because of a British woman, Jessica (Maria).
She joins the institution as a teacher. He eventually falls in love with her. His father says 'No' for their marriage.
The reason is simple as Ulaganathan’s father died in the freedom fight against the Britishers, how can he allow his son to marry a british woman.
How will Anbu convince his father & his father-in-law is what the movie is all about.
The story is average & there's nothing that is unique but still it's entertaining but also flatters at many points.
Music & songs are cool. Performances are decent, especially Sivakarthikeyan is impressive in his role.
Overall, Prince is an average comedy that might entertain you with its not-so-unique story but good performances.
