Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is known for his unmatchable acting skills and for releasing superhits one after another. On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Akshay Kumar has announced his new film ‘Ram Setu’ and shared the first poster for the same.
Taking the news to twitter and Instagram, Akshay wrote, “This Deepawali, let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge (setu) that will connect generations to come. Taking this mammoth task ahead, here is our humble attempt – Ram Setu. Wishing you and yours a very Happy Deepawali”

He updated another post to make the same announcement in Hindi as well.
“इस दीपावली,भारत राष्ट्र के आदर्श और महानायक भगवान श्री राम की पुण्य स्मृतियों को युगों – युगों तक भारत की चेतना में सुरक्षित रखने के लिए एक ऐसा सेतु बनाये जो आने वाले पीढ़ियों को राम से जोड़ कर रखे।इसी प्रयास में हमारा भी एक छोटा संकल्प है – राम सेतु

Ram Setu will be Directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Aruna Bhatia & Vikram Malhotra. Other than this, Akshay has some more movies in his bucked like Raksha Bandhan to be released on 5th November,2021, Atrangi Re on Valentine’s Day 14th February, 2021, Bell Bottom booked for 2nd April, 2021, and Prithviraj & Sooryavanshi are his two film with no fixed date of release yet.
Also, Laxmi released recently which received the biggest opening on Disney Plus Hotstar starring Akshay and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
