Actors Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna started the shooting for their upcoming film Mission Majnu. The film marks the directorial debut of award-winning filmmaker Shantanu Bagchi, where it is also the debut of popular Tollywood actress Rashmika Mandanna in Bollywood. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala and Garima Mehta.
Bankrolled by RSVP and Guilty By Association, Mission Majnu’s story is based on the real event of the 1970s and is the story of an Indian intelligence mission in Pakistan.

Previously, the Main lead actor shared his excitement as in his recent interview said, “Mission Majnu is a patriotic tale inspired by true events that celebrate the hard work of RAW agents who go out of their way to protect the citizens of our country. It is a privilege to tell the story of our brave agents, and I am eager to revisit a mission that forever changed the relationship between India and Pakistan.
