The melody king Arijit Singh has suffered the irrecoverable loss of his mother. Mrs. Aditi Singh passed away on 19 May due to a cerebral stroke. At the end of April month, Arijit’s mother had been admitted to a Kolkata hospital due to COVID-related complications.
Many Bollywood celebrities including Srijit Mukherji and Swastika Mukherjee had requested the public to provide donors for Arijit Singh’s mother. Arijit himself had urged his fans to help his mother in these hard times. After fighting the deadly virus, she had finally tested negative for Coronavirus, as said by the hospital in an official statement on May 17.
But 2 days later, the singer lost his mother to a cerebral stroke. On 19 May at about 11 pm, the tragedy took place. The family members took Arijit’s mother’s remains to their home at Jiaganj in Murshidabad on 20 May, morning.
While Arijit’s mother was suffering from Coronavirus, the singer had given a rather important message to his fans. He had urged people to not overdo things just because they saw the name Arijit Singh connected to the issue. He requested everyone to treat others with equal and mutual respect and help anybody they can in their own shoes.
