Harrdy Sandhu has proven his worth in the Punjabi industry undoubtedly, but in very less time, he sparkled his talent in Bollywood too. Harrdy’s character as Madan Lal and the movie 83 itself also will remain a memorable movie for the audience and might be for the actors too. but Harrdy has some out of the box memories from the sets of the movie.
Everyone knows that Deepika Padukone has played the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Bhatia in the movie and Harrdy Sandhu had a scene to shoot with Deepika Padukone, which eventually was the only scene they both had in the film together, separately.
The shooting was going on in the UK, when Harrdy was ready to shoot with Deepika, but he immediately left the spot and went to the director. He told the director and the team that he couldn’t perform the scene with Deepika as he was feeling super nervous. According to Sandhu, it is very rare that he gets nervous during the shoots or in life but that moment made him highly strung and nervous.

It was the director who then made him easy and chill & told him that it wasn’t too tough of a task and he could do it very easily. He filled the actor with the confidence that he had lost in front of the actress. Harrdy followed the advice and shot the sequence very smoothly with her.

Even though shooting with Deepika was difficult for him, he later made sure to impress Deepika and Ranveer with his songs. He attended various promotional parties with them and also made the couple groove on to his songs like Kya Baat Ae and Bijlee Bijlee.
