After Witness Prabhakar Sail's Statement, Mumbai Police Might Summon NCB Official

In the drug case of SRK’s son Aryan Khan, officials recently witnessed new connections related to the case. As the Mumbai Police is all set to file FIR into the fraud allegations made by independent witness Prabhakar Sail who is bodyguard of KP Gosavi.

Prabhakar has recorded his statement with the DCP Zone 1 office after which it would likely be converted into an FIR. Further, while recording the statement, the prime accused in the case is likely to be KP Gosavi, who is accused of striking a Rs 25 crore deal and giving some of the money to Sameer Wankhede in connection with the Aryan Khan case.

Sail has claimed that he had overheard KP Gosavi, speaking over the phone about Rs 25 crore demand out of which Rs 8 crore is to be given to Wankhede to let off Aryan. Not only this, Sail alleged that Gosavi took Rs 50 lakh from an individual after the raid at the cruise on October 2. He said he had helped Gosavi during the Mumbai cruise drugs case.

He also claimed that he was directed by NCB official Wankhede to sign blank papers of punchnama. But Sameer Wankhede refused the allegations and claimed them baseless. He says, “The allegations levelled by Nawab Malik are baseless and are made solely to humiliate me and my family, and to divert my attention from the investigation.”

Now Prabhakar Sail statement is converted into an FIR. And after the FIR, Mumbai Police is expected to summon NCB officials. Interestingly, NCB too has taken some steps, creating a Mumbai Police versus the central agency scenario. This investigation is being performed by Gyneshwar Singh, who is the vigilance chief in the narcotics department.

Meanwhile, Aryan Khan did not get bail and now he will be presented by Mukul Rohtagi, a former attorney general of India.
