As October 2nd approaches every year, memes from Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam movie start dominating the internet. This year, just a few days before the remarkable day, the actor himself decided to join the party as well.
Ajay Devgn has shared the ‘old bills’ from Drishyam on social media. These were the same bills that he showed to police in the movie back in 2015. Sharing the bills, the actor wrote, “Kuch purane bills haath lage aaj (Found some old bills today)!”
The bills that Ajay shared included a receipt from ‘Ashok Restaurant’ featuring an order of four pav bhaji with two extra pavs, a CD of Swami Chinmayananda Ji’s Maha Satsang dated October 2nd and 3rd, a ticket from Panjim to Pondolem, and tickets to a film.

Well it is not a hidden fact that Ajay Devgn will return soon with the sequel to Drishyam. So fans are seeing this post as a hint towards something related to Drishyam 2.
According to a major section of the Internet, this post is a hint that it wouldn’t be long before the first look and teaser of Drishyam 2 will land online. Many believe that, what could be a better date to launch the first look or teaser of the film than October 2nd.

Fans took to the comments section like a storm and expressed their excitement over the return of the film. “Drishyam 2 loading,” a fan commented.
“Drishyam 2 ka teaser or trailer aane wala Hai sir,” asked another.
“Drishyam 2 is coming soon,” another comment read.
It was previously revealed that Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Shriya Saran have shot for the film. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Drishyam 2’s producers and director, Abhishek Pathak have planned to begin promotions of the film on October 2. They believed that beginning their campaign on this date was appropriate as it had significant meaning for the first part too and film’s fans have also a deep connection with this particular date.
The same report added, “Moreover, things fell into place for them as Drishyam 2 is scheduled to be released on November 18, that is, 45 days after October 2. Hence, everyone in the team unanimously agreed to begin the film’s promotional journey on the national holiday.”

Well, no further information is available about Drishyam 2 yet, but it is reported that much like the first film, Drishyam 2 is also a remake of the namesake Malayalam film that was released in 2021.
